DESIGN THINKING WITH KARISHMA KUSURKAR

We are excited to introduce to you our series of interviews and online workshop events where we interview local industry experts within Northern Ireland. These workshops are an extension of the Dig Deep Womenfolk Programme.

We wanted to make our resources available to our wider Womenfolk Community so that everyone can access and have the opportunity to develop themselves further.

The aim of these workshops is to help educate people in a particular subject, break down basic concepts, and share knowledge with people within our Womenfolk Community.

Our second industry expert is Karishma Kusurkar who is a multidisciplinary designer based in Belfast. In this episode, Karishma breaks down the fundamental concepts of what design thinking is for people that are not familiar with it.

She tells us how the design thinking method can be used by anyone within any industry and that it can really aid your business when working on a project. The overarching theme is to always keep your end-user/customer/client at the forefront of your mind when designing your product or service.

Karishma gives live examples of how you can use the Design Thinking process within your business, to help you become a better designer or maker.
