Emma explains how important it is to have a budget to get the best out of social media as a business. It’s a play for pay platform. Emma shares that it’s important to create strong organic content for customers to see and strong advertising campaigns to reach new potential customers.

Facebook holds a lot of data and that is beneficial from a marketing perspective, as you can get to know your current and potential customers better. It’s important to have a clear idea of who you want to target. Who is your target audience? What is their age, gender, location and interests?

Emma also talks about the difference and benefits of Boosted Posts vs Facebook Ad manager.

Boosted Posts - you are taking a post from your page and paying to reach many of those who have said they liked your page.

Facebook Ads Manager - you can easily set up and run ad campaigns for many different audiences.
